Hyundai has launched its new car Hyundai i20, Hyundai i20 is the higher version of Hyundai i10. The Hyundai i20 is a five door hatchback car. Hyundai i20 will positioned above Hyundai Getz. Hyundai i20 had been designed especially to meet the european consumers. Hyundai i20′s features puts it head and shoulders above the majority of its rivals.
The Hyundai i20 runs an extremely efficient 1.4 CRDi turbo Diesel engine, which produces 66 kW and generates 220 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox instead of the car’s usual five-speed unit. Volvo is going to launch there new SUV in 2009 named Volvo XC60. Volvo XC60 is a late entry the crowded SUV’s, already occupied by the Acura RDX, BMW X3, Infiniti EX35, and newcomers Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLK. This car is charged with more emotive form and more energy than any other Volvo. The new Volvo XC60 is being launched with a choice of three engines: the turbocharged T6 which produces 285 horsepower, and two variants of the D5 turbo diesel — for Europe — producing 185 and 163 horsepower respectively.
Volvo XC60 is powered by a 265-hp 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine that runs on emission-reducing bio-ethanol fuel. Toyota is coming with a new concept of cars and making the Electric cars. You can see the Toyota concept car at 2009 Detroit Auto Show. The Japanese automaker, which expects to post its first operating loss in 70 years, is accelerating the R&D of batteries and could introduce EVs as early as 2010 and at that point it also plans to roll out the first plug-in Prius hybrids as part of its campaign to move beyond oil.
Toyota isn’t making a big deal out of the world premiere of its EV concept. The company’s ambitious “low carbon” agenda calls for cranking out one million hybrids a year within the first half of the next decade and accelerating the development of small electric vehicles for mass production.
