Hyundai has launched its new car Hyundai i20, Hyundai i20 is the higher version of Hyundai i10. The Hyundai i20 is a five door hatchback car. Hyundai i20 will positioned above Hyundai Getz. Hyundai i20 had been designed especially to meet the european consumers. Hyundai i20′s features puts it head and shoulders above the majority of its rivals.

The Hyundai i20 runs an extremely efficient 1.4 CRDi turbo Diesel engine, which produces 66 kW and generates 220 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox instead of the car’s usual five-speed unit. Volvo XC60

Volvo is going to launch there new SUV in 2009 named Volvo XC60. Volvo XC60 is a late entry the crowded SUV’s, already occupied by the Acura RDX, BMW X3, Infiniti EX35, and newcomers Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLK. This car is charged with more emotive form and more energy than any other Volvo. The new Volvo XC60 is being launched with a choice of three engines: the turbocharged T6 which produces 285 horsepower, and two variants of the D5 turbo diesel — for Europe — producing 185 and 163 horsepower respectively.

Volvo XC60 is powered by a 265-hp 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine that runs on emission-reducing bio-ethanol fuel. The XC60 is projected to includes traditional Volvo safety features that would include whiplash protection system, side impact protection system, roll stability control, dynamic stability and traction control, inflatable curtain), hill descent control, collision warning with brake support, active bi-xenon lights, and patented front, side, and rear structures. Suzuki Intruder M1800R2

Suzuki is going to launch its new bike name Suzuki Intruder M1800R2. The Suzuki Intruder M1800R2 engine is of 1783cc which is liquid-cooled, DOHC, V-Twin, and is designed to produce massive tractable power and responsive torque. Maruti A-Star

Maruti has launched its new car named Maruti A-Star. Maruti A Star is A-Segment car as per the European car standards. The managing director of Suzuki Motor Corporation the Maruti Suzuki India plans to commence production of A-Star by the end of October 2008.

Yamaha YFZ450R

Yamaha is going to launch Yamaha YFZ450R in 2009. YFZ450R has a new 5-valve DOHC liquid cooled single cylinder 449cc engine in place, the average rider should have more than enough technology to be happy. For more performance, a slew of modifications are available through GYTR. It has New long-travel front shocks offer 9.8 inches of travel – 0.7 inches more than the YFZ450.

Travis Hollins, Yamaha product planning manager, says that “The Yamaha YFZ450 would be the first in its class to be completely redesigned to be ridden longer, faster and harder with less fatigue”. Yamaha FZ16

Yamaha has launched its Yamaha FZ16 in India. Yamaha FZ16 features a 153cc air-cooled, carbureted, 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder, 2-valve engine, which produces 14 Ps at 7500 rpm and 14 N.m. of torque at 6000 rpm.

Company says that the top brass of FZ 16 has all in it to provide Indian bike enthusiasts with both a rough and brutish expression as well as a certain subtlety.

Lexus to HS250h Dedicated Hybrid

Lexus is going to Unveil its HS250h Dedicated Hybrid in January.

Lexus hybrids which are hybrid versions of models that are also available with regular combustion engines (current Lexus hybrids are the RX450h, GS450h and LS600h).

The new Lexus hybrid is to be called the Lexus HS250h and will be exhibited in concept form, with a production version only due in North American showrooms in late 2009 as a 2010 model. Click here to read more…

Toyota to Launch Electric Car

Toyota is coming with a new concept of cars and making the Electric cars. You can see the Toyota concept car at 2009 Detroit Auto Show. The Japanese automaker, which expects to post its first operating loss in 70 years, is accelerating the R&D of batteries and could introduce EVs as early as 2010 and at that point it also plans to roll out the first plug-in Prius hybrids as part of its campaign to move beyond oil.

Toyota isn’t making a big deal out of the world premiere of its EV concept. The company’s ambitious “low carbon” agenda calls for cranking out one million hybrids a year within the first half of the next decade and accelerating the development of small electric vehicles for mass production.
