Fiat Linea Car

Fiat has launched its new car named Fiat Linea. The Fiat Linea is a small family car released in 2007 by the Italian automaker Fiat as a world car in Eastern Europe, Latin America and Middle East. In India, the Fiat Linea was launched in January 2009 after it was postponed due to the Mumbai terror attacks, in November 2008. It will replace the aging Marea as the largest saloon in the Fiat range. It is based on the current Fiat Grande Punto platform.

The Linea was designed by Fiat Style Centre and co-developed by Fiat do Brasil and Tofaş from Turkey. Fiat Linea’s size is similar to saloon versions of other small family cars, like the Ford Focus, Renault Mégane and Opel Astra. Its wheelbase is 2,603 mm (102.5 in), i.e. 100 mm (3.9 in) longer than its sister models, and its total length is 4,560 mm (179.5 in) or 500 mm (19.7 in). Click here to read more…

Mahindra has launched its new sedan named Mahindra Xylo. The Mahindra Xylo comes with a 2.5l m-Eagle CRDe engine and is meant to compete with the Toyota Innova.

Mahindra Xylo diesel engine has a power output of 112bhp and produces a maximum torque of 235Nm. Mahindra has planned to produce 25,000 units of the Xylo annually.

Mahindra Xylo has been equipped with the latest safety features that ensure all-round protection to its occupants. Seatbelts and tilt steering column are among the standard safety measures of Xylo. Click here to read more…

Hyundai Genesis

Hyundai is going to launch its new car Hyundai Genesis this year. Hyundai Genesis is offered as two well-equipped versions with trim names tied to engine size, the 3.8 and the 4.6. The base 3.8 trim has such amenities as leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7-speaker AM/FM/CD audio, an iPod interface, XM satellite radio, Bluetooth cell phone link, and P225/55R17 tires.

Hyundai Genesis is offered in two flavors, both with substantial power. The V6 version is motivated by Hyundai’s Lambda 3.8-liter DOHC V6, which produces 290 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 264 lb-ft of torque at 4500 rpm. Click here to read more…

Ford has unveils it forthcoming car named Ford Shelby GT500 in Detroit auto show. Ford Shelby GT500 is Powered by a 540 horsepower 5.4-liter V8, the new Shelby is more powerful than its predecessor by 40 horses.

The new GT500 also gains the GT500KR’s whopping 510 pound-feet of torque. Ford Shelby GT500 new gearbox enhancements, plus a standard 3.55:1 rear axle ratio, decreased drag, and increased down force mean the 2010 Shelby GT500 will deliver improved acceleration, while providing 2 mpg of additional highway fuel efficiency.
